07What agents do

Trading and Swaps

Approved spot exchanges and swaps, with seven controls on every proposal.

A trading-capable agent begins with approved spot exchanges and swaps on supported Robinhood Chain venues.

Each trade proposal specifies the input asset, input amount, permitted target venue, expected output, minimum acceptable output, recipient, estimated gas, price source and maximum execution window.

Swap controls

ControlReason
Asset allowlistPrevent accidental exposure to arbitrary tokens
Router and selector allowlistRestrict executable code paths
Recipient validationPrevent assets being redirected to unrelated accounts
Max amount inBound the budget used in each call
Minimum amount outBound displayed slippage
DeadlineReject stale route quotes
Aggregate exposureLimit concentration across repeated swaps

Slippage example

Expected quote: 98.00 output tokens
Maximum slippage: 0.50%
Minimum output = 98 × (1 − 0.005) = 97.51
This guards the quoted execution result. It does not protect against adverse price moves after the transaction, or against a manipulated reference quote.

Turnover and costs

If a strategy executes 12 eligible swaps at 50 USDC each, gross eligible notional is 600 USDC. If a 1% fee applies to that notional under the finalised schedule, the nominal service fee is 6 USDC, excluding gas, spread, slippage and protocol charges. Trading volume is not deposited capital, and it is not profit.

Repeated rebalancing is constrained by a transaction-count budget, a cumulative turnover policy and estimated-cost checks. Liquidation exposure does not apply to ordinary unleveraged spot positions, but smart-contract and asset-price risks remain.
