Motes Agent Fees

A 1% policy rate on eligible agent activity, with the fee base and charging event disclosed before you authorise anything.

Motes intends to charge a 1% agent activity fee and direct protocol revenue toward ecosystem initiatives, including $MOTES buy-backs, alongside other treasury uses.

Fees are not investment performance, and they do not guarantee token price outcomes.

Defining the fee base

A 1% rate is meaningful only alongside an explicit fee base, charging event and collection asset. The interface discloses the precise charging schedule before you authorise relevant execution. Potential fee bases include eligible executed notional, a realised-service charge, or another published activity metric. These are economically different and are never silently interchanged.

This documentation describes the 1% policy rate. The final production schedule identifies which activity types are fee-bearing, and how multi-leg orders, failed transactions, liquidity operations and external venue costs are treated.

Mathematical model

Eligible chargeable amount B in USDC, fee rate f = 0.01
Agent fee F = B × 0.01
Net amount after fee, if deducted from B = B − F
Eligible fee base B1% agent fee FRemaining, if deducted from B
$10$0.10$9.90
$100$1.00$99.00
$1,000$10.00$990.00
$10,000$100.00$9,900.00

The table illustrates arithmetic only. Depositing USDC is not asserted to be a fee-bearing event. The final fee base may reflect executed operations rather than deposits or account balances.

Cost stack

User economic result = gross strategy result − agent fees − protocol and venue fees − gas − spreads and slippage − other applicable costs

Fee transparency

You see an estimated agent fee before execution and a finalised ledger entry after it, including fee basis, rate, charged amount and any refunds. Fees are never hidden inside route quotes or counted twice in a multi-step workflow.
