$MOTES and the NFT Holder Airdrop

A planned ecosystem token with 20% of supply reserved for NFT holders. What is defined, and what is not.

$MOTES is the planned native ecosystem token of the Motes platform and its developing incentive structure. The token is distinct from Motes NFTs, from USDC balances, and from an agent's investment performance.

NFT-holder reservation

20% of the total $MOTES supply is intended for distribution to eligible Motes NFT holders through an airdrop. This is a share of total supply, not an annual yield, and it does not define how much any individual wallet receives.

The holder allocation incorporates an NFT-count multiplier, with multiplier eligibility capped at 50 NFTs per holder. The exact multiplier curve, snapshot method, anti-sybil rules, address aggregation, vesting and claim procedures are not stated here. They will be published as binding distribution rules before the airdrop is executed.

Transparent proportional calculation

Total supply S, holder pool A, individual final allocation aᵢ
A = 0.20 × S
aᵢ = A × wᵢ ÷ Σ wⱼ
wᵢ is the eligible weight under the final, separately published allocation rules. The sum covers all eligible recipients. This is pro-rata pool division, not a finalised NFT multiplier curve.

Illustrative allocation math

If total supply were 1,000,000,000 units, the 20% holder pool would be 200,000,000 tokens. A wallet holding 1% of all final eligible weight would receive 2,000,000 tokens under that assumed pool. The assumed supply is not a Motes announcement, and these figures establish neither eligibility nor valuation.
